Are you like so many of us in the “tactical community”? We have 2 or 3 Baofeng (insert other various brand) radios laying around and you’ve yet to test them out, much less program it for use. Are you the one responsible for your family’s safety if / when traditional forms of communication fail? Are you part of a group of like minded people who’d like to simply be able to communicate with each other no matter the situation? Then this is the course for you!

5. Practical Exercise to Test Your Setup

*This is not a Ham Radio Certification Course, but that may be offered soon if there is sufficient interest.

Our course times are 9 am – 5 pm unless otherwise noted. We will take a short break for lunch, so please bring a packed lunch and drink.

Radio (Baofeng UV-5R, AR-152, or similar radio) *please remember to charge your batteries beforehand & bring all your necessary programming cables.
