If you are a new handgun owner or considering purchasing your first handgun, and have not attended a professionally lead firearms training course, then this is the class for you.  Details that will be covered during this course include.  Safely handling firearms, loading and unloading, marksmanship fundamentals, and weapons maintenance.  Additional topics that will be covered include, pertinent legal considerations pertaining to firearms ownership, transportation, storage, and defensive use specific to California residents.  If you already have your own handgun and ammunition, it is recommended that you bring that to class.  However, if you do not own a handgun we can provide one for you, along with ammunition for a small fee.

Our course times are 9 am – 5 pm unless otherwise noted.  We will take a short break for lunch, so please bring a packed lunch and drink.

Sunglasses

Sunscreen (you may want to apply before arriving as our facilities are outdoors).

No low cut tops and closed toe shoes (this is for your safety, as brass casings ejected during live fire exercises can land inside loose fitting tops or sandals and could create a safety issue).

Optional things you could bring:

Your personal handgun and accompanying equipment you may already own.

150 rounds for your personal handgun.
