PSD – Personal Security Detail | One Day Course
In an effort to further develop the real-world readiness of the U.S. Overwatch community, we are proud to introduce our one-day Personal Security Detail (PSD) course. This training is designed to enhance your ability to think, move, and operate with purpose in dynamic environments, focusing on protective movement, situational awareness, communication, and team-based problem solving.
For the everyday civilian, PSD principles translate directly into increased awareness, better decision-making under stress, and the ability to safely navigate uncertain or potentially dangerous situations in daily life—whether that’s protecting your family, traveling, or simply being more prepared and confident in public spaces.
For our military and law enforcement professionals, this course provides an opportunity to refine protective operations skillsets, sharpen team coordination, and apply PSD concepts in a practical, scenario-driven environment that complements existing training.
In the most straightforward explanation we can offer—come prepared. Students should arrive with their gear, ammunition, food, water, and the mindset to train hard. This course will incorporate elements of movement, communication, medical considerations, and protective detail fundamentals, all delivered through realistic, hands-on scenarios designed to elevate your overall operational capability.
